Well, I was talking to Oldie Rosie Josie today and she jogged my blogging muscle, so I decided it was time to blog. Sooo I was going to continue to talk about what I was last time, but 1) I forgot what I was talking about, and 2) It's not important, I'll probably blog about something important if it comes up.
So I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving, because I did. I just did nothing for 4-5 days... It was nice. I hung out with Richelle every day and every day, we hung out with different people too, so that was fun. Thanksgiving Day, we hung out with Gus because he came to El Monte to have dinner with family that night. We just rented movies and watched at Richelle's house. We watched....Love Guru and (fill in name of movie here later if I remember) Love Guru was a pretty good movie; Jessica Alba was hot in it =) ahhh she's so beautiful. After that, Gus had to leave so I took RIchelle to my place to have dinner with my family. After dinner we were really full, so we decided to take a walk around town. I havn't taken a walk around El Monte for a while and was, for a second, quite afraid for my life, but it turned out fine. We walked all the way to Victor's, said hi and went back to my place for some Monopoly fun with my sister and Denny. That toook way tooo long and as we were falling asleep, me and Denny called a draw. That ended Thanksgiving Day and I went to bed for a fun and exciting Black Friday morning!
So.... Black Friday wasn't as fun and exciting as everyone put it to be.. Everyone (this means you Josie) thought that I would be out buying cheap clothes and electronics but I acutally did nothing and just hung out with Richelle again. This time, we picked up Sam Frum and went to buy me some Oakley's =DDDD. I lost my pair when i went up to NorCal. We spent about an hour at the store and finally walked out with a new pair. I'm contemplating buying two pairs, one as the replacement for the one I lost (so my parents don't know that I lost it) but now after some careful consideration, I might just leave it as is. After we finished with sunglasses, we decided to drive around and maybe go to the mall, but once we saw the parking lot situation, we changed our minds, made a u-turn and went to visit Krissy instead. We were at her house talking for a bit and then just took her along with us. We went to The Hat because we were all fatasses and were hungry so we bought food and sat there to just talk and eat. After that, we decided that we wanted to watch a movie, so we went to the movie store to rent 88 minutes, Kung Fu Panda, and Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Kung Fu Panda was up first and after that, the two freakin white girls were craving noodles because it was in the movie,.... so I ordered some and we all went to pick it up. Those were delicious noodles and everyone thanked me for the great recommendation as we watched Prince Caspian. It was during this whole movie night that made me realize I hate it when people talk during a movie.....-__- We ran out of time and were sleepy so we didn't watch 88 minutes so I just took Sam and Krissy home.
The next day (Saturday) my entire family went to Camarillo outlets I believe? or was it Cabazon... I'm not sure but yea.... I didn't feel like going so I just took care of stuff at home and had Richelle come over and finish watching our other movie. It wasn't that bad. We enjoyed it. Then we watched a couple episodes of 30 Rock and Knight Rider and Gossip Girl and the random TV shows that we needed to catch up on. Then Richelle went out with Derick Angela Elaine and Ivan, and I went to Linda's to play RockBand with Lily and Karen and Linda. I can honestly say that after 2 hours of rock band and guitar hero world tour.... I completely satified my hunger for rock band for the next..... couple months or so....
The next day, i stayed home and just took care of chores around the house before going to Brooke's to fix her computer because she needed it for college apps or something.... Then went out to eat at In-N-Out / Albertos. Richelle and I ordered some Albertos but when it came, the guacamole was brownish, but we decided it was okay. (badddd idea)... We finished eating and I went back to my place to pack stuff up to get ready to go back to Irvine. I felt like joyridng so I took new freeways home and got back in 35 minutes..=) and that wasn't even speeding. Haha.
Got back and just started doing some homework and put up my last couple comments on myspace/facebook because I am starting my FaceBook/Myspace hiatus in honor of finals week. =D Finished homework, caught up with some friends, made sure they were having great days and whatnot, helped them solved problems and went to bed.
I am getting really tired of these subjects this quarter and am looking forward to a new quarter and new stuff to learn. I am really really scared that I won't do well on my finals so that's why im trying to work as hard as I can to make sure I study as much as I can and get rid of little distractions. I am trying to come straight home everyday after work and stop wasting time. (You might say this is wasting time, and I can agree but I thought i deserved a little blog time after working all day on my programming assignment)
So now, onto other more important things.... like life, economy and love........
My mom called me yesterday and was telling me that the economy was bad (as if I didn't already know). She told me to stop wasting money and save and only buy things I really need. Many of my friends and co-workers know me as an Amazon addict and a shop-a-holic and a geek. Josie asked me if i did anything for Black Friday, but when I told her I didn't go anywhere, she responded with, "That's so unlike you, Johnny". In matter of fact... I also havn't bought anythign on Amazon for 3 weeks now, thank you very much. I don't feel the need for anything at the moment so I am going to just save up and buy my friends nice things for Christmas and myself something nice if a nice sale comes along after Christmas. I need to pay off my credit card bill but thankfully, i am NOT in debt. I just had to pay for rent and feel like I'm in debt, but I'm not, don't worry world.
Love is in the air...!!! HOLY crap..... in the last couple months, so many people have gotten together, hooked up, or started dating.. I am so surrpised. Haha.... Richelle and I just celebrated our 2 - year anniversary last month and our 25 month yesterday and some of my friends just started theirs.. Then I have friends that are celebrating their 8 year anniversary soon.... crazy freaks..... I am excited to see all this love in the air (it's as if Cupid came early this year.)
Some friends however, aren't having much luck or things aren't going their way and for that, I am sorry. Love is not something that you have to rush into though. There is no social clock that says that you must have a boyfriend/girlfriend by some time in your life, or lose your viriginity by the time you graduate college. These are just pressures set on by society. Don't rush love, let it come your way. I have always abided to the philosophy of, "If it's supposed to happen (a certain way), it will happen." So why rush it? It'll happen sooner or later, or not at all so why bother. Just focus on the more important things in life and wait for it to come. It'll come soon enough and you will experience joy and glee.
CHRISTMAS IS COMING UP!!!!!!
I've always loved Christmas.... (maybe it's just the materialistic me talking) but I just love this time of the year. I thoroughly enjoy buying nice things for my friends and receiving surprises in return. This year.... I have my Christmas list on my AIM profile.... but I'm pretty sure no one is going to get me those things (they are pretty expensive) but hey, that's why they call it a wishlist right? I'm sure whatever my friends get me, I'll love it and use it and be grateful.
Blogging needs to be done daily or bi-weekly otherwise you start binge blogging and start having carpal tunnel syndrome and can't study for finals...
I'll blog again sooon (maybe right before finals or right after)..
See you soon!
